asperger's syndrome
-a complex nuerological disorder that affects the brain, and is usually characterized by: social impairment, communication difficulties, and restrictive, repetitive, and stereotyped patterns of behavior.
satoshi tajiri, the creator of pokemon has asperger's syndrome, even though he was not diagnosed until recently, as a child he decided that he would put no limitations on passion in life and thefore became successful.

What prevents me from learning in the classroom:

People talking in loud voices that are near me. Jumbled up words on the board. Long, boring, monotone speaches. Uncooperative teammates in group projects.

What teachers can do to help me:

when people get loud during a project, I can listen to my music to block them out. If I owe work, then do not give me the work when a major assignment or project begins. Not many group activities.

what can I do to help myself:

Pay more attention to the teacher, even if the teacher is talking in a monotone voice. Talk to other people in the class. Do not get overwelmed by many small assignments.

What I want teachers to know about me:

Just observe and learn.
